Watch our latest video below to see an example of a water-stressed community in Kerala, India – and how having a Desolenator could really ease the financial pressure and worry which the families are inevitably put under in their daily struggle to get enough water.
It’s just five days since the Desolenator campaign launched on Indiegogo, and we’re almost one third of the way to our fundraising target with an incredible $46,101 (31%) already!
We’ve been trending on the site’s Community Section since Monday, and we’ve had plenty of press coverage, all of it positive – including the Huffington Post UK, Yahoo! India, Economic Times India and, just today, Gizmodo! There’s loads more in the pipeline, so we’re really excited to hear that the word is being spread.
In light of our recent achievements our Rainmaker, Alexei Levene, has a few words to say…
“We are delighted to have hit 30% of our funding goal within only a few days and humbled to have all of this support from people inspired by the Desolenator venture from across the world. We have been inundated with comments, questions and messages of support from as far away as Thailand, Abu Dhabi, Uganda and India!
We launched a referral campaign yesterday for funders of the crowdfund and we are putting instructions on the page – the winner with most referrals will win an all expenses paid trip to Kerala, India to meet our team, see our prototype, drink Desolenated water and join us for a campaign party on the beach!
Thank you for all your continued support and keep sharing and spreading the word!”
